Take to the seas, the skies and the streets on your holiday to Turkey. Cruise the turquoise-blue waters of the Aegean and Mediterranean Seas aboard a wooden motor-schooner or gulet (Turkish yacht), jump in a hot air ballooning and soar over the ‘fairy chimneys’ of Cappadocia and immerse yourself in the banter of Istanbul’s Grand Bazaar. Or slow things down with a relaxing dip in a traditional Turkish hammam or sit back and watch the incredible whirling dervishes.

Turkey Food & Drink

Holiday to Turkey and you’ll soon learn that there’s more to the country’s cuisine than kebabs. Food is at the centre of family and social life with meze-style dining a popular way of sitting down and sharing together – dips, cheese, bread, meat and fish dishes and plenty of vegetarian options. For something sweet it has to be baklava with its thin layers of pastry stuffed with pistachio or walnut. And to drink? Strong black coffee or glasses of çay (tea) sweetened with a lump or two of sugar.
