The Rixos Premium Göcek emits a tangible feeling of calm throughout its verdant estate, a fact which is enhanced no end by such pristine surrounds and a clear connection with the landscape. So, low-rise two-story buildings are constructed of timbre and bare stone though also allow for great coastal views, while lush lawns are interspersed with native trees and exotic foliage. 

What’s more, the bay’s pristine waters are not only showcased through a string of overwater sunbathing pontoons but mirrored in a pair of striking swimming pools too, and internal spaces also fuse natural fibres with these beach-chic materials. They are, however, super stylish and fully up-to-the-minute in their design, so the blue of the sea can be found in snazzy wall and floor tiles, earthy hues run through marble-clad bathrooms and furniture is, of course, all dark wood – a reflection of the bordering forest reserves. It all feels a little like a little utopia, so why not treat yourself to an invigorating hammam or treatment at the spa, tuck into some gourmet cuisine in any of the four restaurants and bars, or simply spend that afternoon swinging in a hammock? Turquoise Restaurant’s tempting buffet, for example, is open from breakfast right through to the evening, as is People’s, which serves a vast array of internationally-inspired dishes, fresh salads and pastries. For a true taste of Turkey however, Diadala Restaurant conjures up local dishes made to the highest of standards and using all-modern techniques; simply delicious. To follow dinner in style, head to Nox Bar where you can spend a whole night marvelling at the stunning view of the marina across the bay, as you enjoy a fruity cocktail or ice-cold beer, there’s really nothing like it while away.

    New Schengen entry requirements (planned for November 2024 onwards)

    From November 2024, the new EU Entry/Exit System (EES) will start for all non-EU nationals, including British nationals, travelling in or out of the Schengen area. The Schengen area is made up of 29 European countries, 25 of which are EU Member States. The EES is a digital border system which registers non-EU visitors travelling into the Schengen area instead of stamping their passports.
    You will need to have your fingerprints and your photo taken when entering the Schengen area. If you enter the Schengen area through Dover, Eurotunnel at Folkestone or St Pancras International, your fingerprints and photo will be taken before you leave the UK. You will also need to provide either your fingerprint or photo on exit.
    You may experience longer queues at borders when the new system starts.

    Passport Validity

    To enter Europe, your passport must have:

    • a date of issue less than 10 years before the date you arrive – if you renewed your passport before 1 October 2018, it may have a date of issue that is more than 10 years ago
    • an expiry date at least 3 months after the day you plan to leave
    • at least one blank page for stamping

    The Villa Prive is a two bedroom, two bathroom villa with a view of the gardens or the ocean. Set within lush greenery, this two storey villa has plenty of space. At 210 sqm, it has a living area, open kitchen and dining area, a private pool plus your own personal butler.
