    Day 1

    Saturday

    Your Scuba Spa experience starts the moment you hit the tarmac in the Maldives with representatives ready and waiting at the airport to whisk you to port. Then it’s “all aboard” as you’re welcomed on to this ‘Floating Resort’ and given time to settle into your cabin before a buffet lunch. Spend the rest of the afternoon relaxing – with a few moments of ‘housekeeping’ including a chance to meet the crew and a safety briefing – before sitting down to a welcome dinner at the on-board al fresco restaurant as you sail towards the North Male Atoll.

    Rise and shine! The day starts early (if you want it to that is) with a morning test dive and yoga classes on deck before tucking into a delicious breakfast. As you sail across the Indian Ocean, you’ll have the opportunity for two more dives – one at Boduhithi Manta Point and the other at Rasdhoo Madivaru Channel. Late afternoon brings the chance for snorkelling, watersports and a beach visit at Madivaru Finolhu before the day is rounded off with a Sunday Roast-style evening meal.

    Monday

    Feeling adventurous today? This morning sees you diving with hammerhead sharks at Kuramathi Kandu followed by the daily yoga class, breakfast and – if you want them – spa treatments. The rest of the day is full of opportunities for snorkelling, watersports, beach visits and dives. As evening comes around there’s sunset yoga and a night dive at Maaya Thila followed by a Surf and Turf dinner.

    Tuesday

    Day four of your once-in-a-lifetime itinerary in the Maldives starts with a morning dive amid sharks (only for the brave!) at Fish Head followed by a beach yoga class at Meerufenfushi Island. After breakfast you’ll sail towards Moofushi Manta Point (a diving spot connected to the luxury five star Constance Moofushi resort) where you’ll swim with manta rays – this area has even been visited by passing whale sharks! Your third dive of the day is at Bulhalhohi Caves where you may spot reef sharks gliding by. To end the day you’ll head to shore for a moonlit barbeque on a deserted sandy island.

    Wednesday

    Wake at sunrise for your early morning yoga class followed by breakfast or a trip to the spa – it’s really up to you! Over the course of the day there will be two opportunities for whale shark research trips – your chance to play a role in whale shark conservation – as well as snorkelling and diving. As you sail towards Dhigurah Lagoon a Mexican Fiesta dinner will be served, followed by an evening presentation by the Maldives Whale Shark Research Programme – attendance optional, of course!

    Thursday

    If you’re feeling up to it, it’s another early start with a dawn dive at Kudhima Wreck in the South Ari Atoll area followed by sunrise yoga classes, with a second diving opportunity at Broken Rock, one of the most well-known dive spots in the Maldives home to a wide variety of marine life including moray eels and turtles. In the early evening you’ll stop off for a beach visit at a sand bank in the middle of the Indian Ocean, with a night dive amid nurse sharks at the Alimatha House Reef. The agenda for the rest of evening? Italian for dinner followed by a movie screen beneath the stars on the Sun Deck.

    Friday

    On your final full day about the Floating Resort by Scuba Spa you’ll have your last chance for a morning dive, this time at Miyaru Kandu among different shark species – look out for hammerhead and grey reef – followed by a yoga class on deck. As you sail towards the South Male Atoll the ship will stop for your second dive of the day at Kandooma Thila before anchoring by Sexy Beach, a sandbank with dazzling white sugar-soft sands. After lunch stop at Maafushi Island for a taste of local island life before your final dive at the Kuda Giri wreck, 40 metres below the sea. End the day with sunset cocktails and a farewell dinner of pan-Asian cuisine.

    Today you’ll say goodbye to your Maldives cruise with a morning transfer to Velana International Airport on the island of Malé in time for your return flight home.

    The spacious Sea Star Cabins are situated on the lower deck. All have a queen-size bed and one features an additional second bed, for three guests sharing. Sensuous driftwood sculptures blend with earthy and jewel tones to provide a relaxing setting. Each Sea Star Cabin is generously fitted with two opening port lights.

    The Cowrie Suite nestles snugly in the bow of the lower deck. This special suite has a unique shape with angled, panelled walls. There is a queen-size bed and a lavish ruby-coloured sofa, that can be transformed into a comfortable third bed. As the Cowrie Suite spans the width of the bow it has four opening port lights, and the spacious en-suite houses the largest shower on-board.

    Beautifully decorated, the Dolphin Suites are set on the main deck and offer queen-size beds with generous seating areas. Earthy and blue fabrics complement the natural colour scheme whilst oval panoramic windows set into the hull offer uninterrupted ocean views and total privacy.

    Set on the main deck, Manta Suites are Scubaspa's premium cabins combining comfortable twin or king-size beds with thoughtfully appointed seating areas. Pared back designs feature natural tones and materials whilst large oval panoramic windows set into the hull offer uninterrupted ocean views and total privacy.

    The asian style 300m2 Spa is the largest of its kind in the Maldives. Spanning two decks, facilities consist of six treatment rooms, including one for couples’ therapies, a secluded deck for open-air Thai massage or meditation and a shaded spa lounge for relaxation and yoga. The therapies use products made with organic ingredients, botanical extracts and essential oils, designed exclusively for Scubaspa. The menu consists of more than 20 treatments including Balinese, Thai, Filipino ‘Hilot’, Ayurvedic, Hawaiian Lomi-Lomi, Warm Bamboo, Lava Shell and Hot Stone therapies. Guests enjoy eight treatments of their choosing over the course of a week.

    Enjoy the sounds of the sea and the warmth of the sun while practicing yoga as the sun rises. No experience necessary and all skill levels welcome. This session will include asanas (poses), pranayama (breathing) and meditation. If you are new to Yoga, our introduction is perfect for you. By practicing simple and easy yogic techniques, the body and mind begin to work in harmony making for a healthier and stress-free life.

    Diving with Scubaspa is a pleasurable, relaxed experience with all dive related activity taking place on a separate dive boat, one accompanying each yacht. This ensures the main vessel is undisturbed by the noise and activity. Approximately 19m in length, the dive boat carries all the equipment, including air compressors and state-of-the-art nitrox; purpose built for comfort, each has plentiful seating, multiple entry points, stern platform and on-board toilet facilities. Scubaspa Ying and Scubaspa Yang are the only vessels in the Maldives to be awarded PADI 5 Star Dive Resort status. Divers of all abilities are welcomed by the five experienced, multilingual dive masters/instructors and boat crew to enjoy the very best of the Maldives from this luxurious floating resort.

    Internationally qualified chefs cater to all tastes and dietary requirements with a varied selection of gourmet cuisine. Guests enjoy three buffet style meals daily as well as an a la carte menu, complete with live cooking stations served in the spacious al fresco restaurant at the rear of the main deck.  From roast rack of lamb to grilled Atlantic salmon, flaming crepe suzette to sizzling tapas and an authentic sushi bar, flavours of this tropical island paradise are expertly combined with traditional European and Mediterranean favourites. Indulge in the freshest seafood, juiciest cuts and an array of tropical fruits and vegetables. Fresh lobster, cooked to order, is also available at a small additional cost.  Enjoy breakfast whilst watching the sunrise, dine under the stars and relax in the sun over a leisurely lunch.  All complemented by a carefully curated global selection of wines and champagnes.
