Viceroy Riviera Maya is an intimate resort located within 6 acres of lush jungle grounds and offers just 41 individual villas. Each villa features a furnished sundeck around a private plunge pool and also features an outdoor shower. The interiors are spacious and beautifully decorated. The beachfront is dotted with loungers, daybeds and cabanas and there is a serene lagoon pool to enjoy as well. A family of spider monkeys have also made the resort their home so look out for them within the trees or on roof tops.
Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula boasts the second largest reef in the world and is a great place for diving and snorkelling, in fact there is a reef just beyond the breakwater in front of the Viceroy Riviera Maya. The hotel has a private pier which offers dining, sunbeds and spa treatments as well as access to the sea to snorkel. The 'Mayodromos' is a team of concierge and butlers on hand to help pamper guests and assist with information, organise optional activities and site-seeing tours if required.
Viceroy Riviera Maya has two onsite restaurants - La Marea serves fresh seafood in an open-air environment with innovative Chef Tables and contemporary interpretations of Mexican cuisine with Mediterranean influences. The Coral Grill offers stunning sea views and is open throughout the day. The resort also offers the dining option anytime anywhere which means you are totally in control of where and when you dine from sunrise breakfast on the beach to sunset dining at the end of the pier.
There is also a lounge, library and gym. The award-winning Wayak Spa offers traditional steam rooms and luxury treatments. Playa Del Carmen is a short drive away where you can enjoy nightlife, restaurants and shops.
