Where is the resort located? 

This exclusive urban oasis sits on Jumeirah Bay Island, a man-made seahorse-shaped island connected to central Dubai by a 300-metre bridge. It may be just a 20-minute drive from the world’s tallest tower – the iconic Burj Khalifa – but it feels like a peaceful hideaway. You don’t have to worry about a long drive from the airport, either, as Dubai International is also around 20 minutes away by car. You'll be through arrivals and exploring this luxury destination in no time.

We’ve picked the Bvlgari Suite as our personal favourite due to its incredible wrap-around balcony with incredible views of the famed Dubai skyline You’ll also find a spacious living area – complete with a huge library and mini bar hidden away in a vintage-style luggage case – and marble bathroom where the two-person Jacuzzi comes with a view.

If you decide to splurge, the 540 square metres Bvlgari Villa comes with an expansive private garden, oval-shaped temperature-controlled swimming pool, fully equipped kitchenette, private home cinema, indoor Jacuzzi and its very own hammam.

Sumptuous spa days

Warm stone massages, full-body wraps, traditional Balinese rituals and facial treatments are all available, guaranteed to revitalise you from head to toe. Even without booking a treatment, the spa itself provides a laidback yet luxurious vibe and incredible views of the ocean. 

Get active

If you feel like swapping chill out time for activity, there’s no shortage of ways to burn some energy. Take part in yoga, boxing, pilates and strength training at the Workshop Gymnasium, all of which are hosted by an expert trainer. Prefer to work out alone? The state of the art fitness centre is the way to go. There is a variety of top of the range cardio machines and free weights to help keep you on your fitness journey during your stay. 

Fine dining and al fresco eateries

Choose from six restaurants and bars located on-site, all of which serve a variety of cuisines. Hōseki is the place to be if you want to sample authentic Japanese dishes, including sushi and miso soup, while the seafood-focused La Spiaggia is a relaxed affair and is where the exclusive beach club comes alive at night, lit up by lanterns and candlelight. But the stand-out dining option for us is Il Ristorante, a fine-dining Italian restaurant overlooking the marina and overseen by Niko Romito, a three-star Michelin chef.
