Luxury Travel Worldwide since 1986

Rita Sharma OBE set up travel agency Worldwide Journeys, latterly renamed Best at Travel, in 1986 selling transatlantic business flights from a windowless London office “the size of a broom cupboard”, which merely consisted of “two desks and some phones”.

Today, from its prime central London offices, Best at Travel arranges luxury holidays for over 60,000 customers a year to the far flung corners of the world.

Best at Travel - Luxury Specialists

Best at Travel’s luxury travel specialists are at the heart of the company and have first-hand knowledge of the countries and properties that complete our comprehensive portfolio.

Kristina Baltrusyte

Kristina Baltrusyte

Travel was always Kristina's greatest passion in life. It started years ago when she took a job at Yellow Stone National Park as a student. She fell in love with the Caribbean since she started specialising in the area six years ago. Some of her most memorable experiences include hiking The Gross Piton Mountain in St Lucia, a breath-taking railway trip across the picturesque island of St Kitts, swimming in Dunn’s falls in Jamaica and trekking at Grand Etang National Park in Grenada. Her latest Caribbean adventure was Crop Over Carnival in Barbados. Dancing in a colourful feather costume at the Grand Kadooment Day with the locals was an unforgettable experience.

Robert Santry

Robert Santry

Robert has worked in travel for over 20 years.   One of his most memorable experiences was travelling through Africa, crossing the border from Botswana to Zambia on the Chobe River, with the banks lined with Elephants all ‘waving their trunks goodbye’! His trip finished at the magnificent Victoria Falls.   His favourite luxury hotel is Jade Mountain at Anse Chastanet in St Lucia, a 3-walled sanctuary with panoramic views of the majestic Piton Mountains. A very memorable holiday as this was where he asked his partner to marry him …….and she said YES!    Recently he has swum with turtles in Barbados and island hopped in the British Virgin Islands. He specialises in arranging personal travel to the Caribbean.
