Dubai’s Best Spas & Luxury Relaxation Centres

Please note that due to the current restrictions, some spas may be closed until further notice or have limited facilities.

Holidays should be relaxing, right? While Dubai is bursting with excitement and entertainment, many of us are looking for the chance to escape the everyday and experience true indulgence. That's where Dubai's incredible resorts complete with luxury spas and relaxation centres come in.

But we're not here to just talk about spa days. Get the scoop on all the best luxury spas and activities to help you feel refreshed, renewed and revitalised at some of the world's most indulgent resorts.

The best spas in Dubai

Dubai’s glitz and glamour extend to its collection of ultra-luxury spas and wellness centres. Experience the ultimate in pampering on your next spa break with tailored treatments and state-of-the-art technologies, all designed to soothe you – mind, body and soul.

Waldorf Astoria Dubai Palm Jumeirah

One of the most stylish and understatedly elegant hotels in Dubai, the Waldorf Astoria Dubai Palm Jumeirah is home to the award-winning Waldorf Astoria Spa. With a colour palette of warm, golden colours designed to put you immediately at ease, here, you can choose from a number of treatments – over 50, in fact! As well as traditional offerings – Thai massage, anyone? – the spa offers locally-inspired and seriously indulgent options from a pearl purifying hammam and golden body scrubs to rose quartz massages and blue diamond facials.

To really make the most of your experience, we recommend trying out the extensive facilities before or after your treatment. Grab your robe and check out everything from the hydrotherapy circuit (complete with a whirlpool hot tub and herbal steam rooms) to the traditional Arabic Attar perfumery. We love the flotation lounges, which are set in a dimly lit room, allowing you to lay back and let your worries drift away.

The Palace at One&Only Royal Mirage

A secluded sanctuary, the One&Only Spa – set within the 65 acres of manicured gardens of The Palace at One&Only Royal Mirage – revolves around three guiding principles: to unwind, restore and elevate.

Here, the concept of wellness goes beyond luxury treatments. There is a range of top-to-toe beauty facilities on-site including a manicure and pedicure studio and Zouari Hair Salon with a menu curated by ‘hairdresser to the stars’, Alexandre Zouari.

We love that the use of steam rooms, saunas and plunge pools either before or after your spa treatment is complimentary. And if there’s one experience you cannot miss, it’s the traditional oriental hammam, a journey centred around a heated marble slab and deep-cleansing techniques.

Starting with an invigorating deep cleansing using black soap, this is followed by a rejuvenating exfoliation session as well as a Ghassoul mud wrap, honey mask and moisturising body balm. This signature ritual ends with a soak in the warm waters of a bath set beneath an intricately decorated domed ceiling and surrounded by arched walls inlaid with midnight blue tiles.

Caesars Palace Bluewaters Dubai

Caesars Palace is legendary when it comes to luxury and this doesn't just stop at your room and the pool. The Caesars Palace Bluewaters Dubai resides on its man-made island, overlooking Jumeirah Beach and Ain Dubai, the world's largest observation wheel.

Seek out the Qua Spa during your stay which features the first Iyashi Dome in the UAE. This is a state of the art treatment that uses infrared on the body to reduce signs of ageing, help with sleep and leave you with softer skin.

As well as this innovative treatment you can enjoy the usual massages and facilities including a sauna to leave you feeling refreshed for the rest of your trip. When you're finished up, wine and dine in a choice of 12 restaurants – we're big fans of the freshly cooked seafood dishes at The Sandbar – and dance the night away at Havana Social Club.

Jumeirah Zabeel Saray

Located on the western crescent of the iconic Palm Island, Jumeirah Zabeel Saray is a haven for those looking to unwind in unadulterated luxury.

The impressive 8,000 square metre Talise Ottoman Spa is a must-visit, offering much more than your typical steam and sauna. Get your body working in one of the snow rooms, take a dip in a thalassotherapy pool (salt-water pools that have a number of therapeutic benefits) or sign up for a treatment in a traditional Turkish hammam.

When you're not unwinding in the spa, tuck into dishes from around the world at 10 on-site restaurants, enjoy complimentary access to the beach or sign up for a scuba diving excursion.

Guerlain Spa at One&Only The Palm

Located on Dubai's iconic Palm Island, this One&Only resort is an oasis offering luxury in every room, pool and restaurant.

Guests can enjoy some of the indulgent Arabian inspired spa treatments at One&Only The Palm's Guerlain Spa. Turn up for your treatment in the robe and slippers provided in your room and take your pick from signature spa rituals including muscle invigorating Thai massages to the incredible Hammam Ritual.

We're big fans of this spa treatment that starts with a deep body exfoliation and a body wrap before being taken to the steam room. This is where the wrap works its magic, purifying the skin and eliminating toxins. You can also book in for a professional makeup application, ready for an evening at the al fresco 101 Dining Lounge and Bar.

Caracalla Spa at Le Royal Meridien Beach Resort & Spa

The family-friendly Le Royal Meridien Beach Resort & Spa also boasts a luxurious spa where parents can escape while the kids enjoy themselves at the Penguin Kids' Club.

Drop by the Caracalla Spa, with its impressive Roman-themed rooms, mosaic walls and complimentary thermal suite where guests can unwind in five hammam pools, saunas and steam rooms.

There are also Elemis and Aromatherapy Associates treatments to choose from including deep cleansing facials, invigorating Swedish massages and aromatherapy experiences designed to ease stress.

Bvlgari Spa at Bvlgari Resort Dubai

It doesn't get more luxurious than the Bvlgari Resort Dubai’s spa with over 1,700 square metres of indulgent treatment rooms, suites and a hammam plus a 25-metre indoor pool. The spa itself is inspired by ancient Roman baths, with elegant architecture and views of the ocean from the soft beds by the pool.

When it comes to treatments, we love the organic myrtle scrub and wrap, designed to fully exfoliate the body before a skin-firming body mask is applied. This is finished up with an ear and scalp massage that will leave you feeling refreshed and relaxed for the rest of the day.

There's also a 24-hour fitness centre if you want to keep up with your workout schedule while on your holiday, with state of the art equipment for complementary use.

Dubai has plenty of health and wellness activities, as well as clean-eating restaurants that are sure to make even the most fitness conscious traveller happy.

Hot yoga classes at Dryp

The city of Dubai can get pretty hot but the trendy Dryp yoga studio in Dubai Marina cranks up the heat even further. Practice everything from your bikram to your vinyasa in this studio which uses infrared technology to steadily warm you up throughout your workout. It's a great experience to sign up for during your stay but be prepared to sweat!
