- Head to Hat Yao for snorkelling - While there's no end of opportunity to see more of the underwater world around Phi Phi, Hat Yao is considered to be one of the best spots for snorkelling. It's a fantastic day trip, just grab your mask and swimsuit and dive into the water to spot everything from vibrant clownfish to black-tipped sharks.
- Take a trip to the Viking Caves - Inside these caves, you'll spot intricate chalk drawings of Viking longboats that are believed to have been made by pirates seeking refuge inside. You'll need to hire a longboat and driver to get up close – long-tail boat drivers are available at the beach right outside the resort 24 hours a day and you can usually barter with them for a good price. Don't forget your camera!
