Travel Guide to Saint Lucia

Flanked by the islands of Barbados, Martinique, St Vincent and the Grenadines, Saint Lucia is every bit as idyllic as you’d expect – and then some. Lush rainforest terrain flows from the hillsides and onto the beaches, where soft sands give way to the sparkling blue waters of the Caribbean Sea. Follow the western coast north and you’ll discover the Piton mountains: two majestic World Heritage Site peaks that overlook the enchanting Soufrière Bay. From there, head for a rejuvenating soak in the Sulphur Hot Springs, or don a snorkeling mask and prepare to explore the underwater kingdom lurking just off shore.
Further north, the lively village of Rodney Bay boasts a range of quality restaurants, whilst rum distilleries, hidden beachfronts and gorgeous nature trails are never too far away.
Find your slice of paradise on Saint Lucia; be it under the shade of a swaying palm, amongst a stream of parrot fish in the coral reefs or along a winding nature trail in the heart of the rainforest.
