The Ritz-Carlton Koh Samui Review

With its 270-degree ocean views, stunning natural backdrop and friendly vibe, The Ritz-Carlton Koh Samui is one of our top places to stay on Thailand’s second-biggest island. Carefully balancing traditional Thai hospitality and aesthetics with signature luxury and plenty to do, it is all-too-easy never to stray from this blissful retreat.

Here, we've featured a full review of The Ritz-Carlton Koh Samui, plus tips from our very own Renée Dyson – our Head of Marketing – on how to make the most of your stay and what to expect.

Why we recommend The Ritz-Carlton Koh Samui – The dining options

"This was the second stop on my trip to Singapore and Thailand. My favourite thing about the resort? The choice of dining options and the stunning views they each offered. The six restaurants at this 5 star resort serves up cuisine inspired by the island – from chilli-spiked southern Thai cuisine to the tasty delights of the bustling food markets."

Where is the hotel located?

On the northern tip of the island, The Ritz-Carlton Koh Samui sits on what was once a former coconut plantation. Wonderfully exclusive, the resort is tucked into a private bay with two white sand beaches overlooking the Gulf of Thailand – island bliss, guaranteed!
