Nestled in the bush of one of the world’s best wildlife parks, Chobe Under Canvas Camp is a luxury safari camp perched on the banks of the Chobe River. With five safari tents sleeping just ten guests, the camp offers an intimate and authentic safari experience with excellent &Beyond trained guides who will tailor your game viewing to suit you. Two daily game drives and river boat cruises are included in your stay.

About Chobe Under Canvas Camp

Chobe Under Canvas Camp is situated in the heart of Chobe National Park, Botswana’s second largest national park. With just five Meru-style safari tents, the camp is exclusive with only ten guests staying at any one time. Arranged in a semi-circular fashion surrounding an open-sided marquee, the tents all come with an en-suite bathroom with hot bucket shower and a covered veranda with deck chairs. The communal area includes a lounge area, bar and library with books and board games. As Chobe Under Canvas Camp is semi-permanent, the camp is packed up every fifth day and move to a different private site along the Chobe River.

One of Africa’s most prestigious safari camps, &Beyond promises the world’s best trained rangers and trackers on your game drives. Home to 80,000 elephants – one of the largest populations in Africa - spotting elephant in the park is almost guaranteed! Spend your days on safari – both a morning and afternoon game drive is included for every full day of your stay – and cruise along the Chobe River on a private sundowner cruise that’s free for guests. And the fun doesn’t stop when the sun goes down. In the evenings, you can dine beneath the stars around an open fire and enjoy some of the best star-gazing on the continent. Chobe Under Canvas Camp welcomes children over the age of 12 years.
