An intimate property, Buhoma Lodge has uninterrupted views of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, home to the elusive Mountain Gorilla. The location of the lodge is everything. It’s only a short walk from the meeting point where your gorilla trekking begins. Sitting on your balcony is the perfect way to spend your afternoon before or after your gorilla trekking adventure and the views over the national park are simply incredible. Built from local materials, the lodge has an elevated central living area complete with bar, dining and spa facilities. Just ten chalets are available for guests. Inside, you’ll find spacious and comfortable beds and an en-suite bathroom - some with a hot tub for relaxing after the day’s activities. Spend your afternoon in the public area with views looking over the forest and enjoy a well-deserved beverage from the fully stocked bar as you chat with fellow travellers around the firepit.
