An environmentally conscious luxury tented camp that straddles three national parks, Shinta Mani Wild offers something altogether different to Cambodia’s other, more orthodox luxury resorts.

Shinta Mani Wild is a unique tented camp sequestered within Cambodia’s lush interior rainforest between the national parks of Kirirom, Bokor and Cardamom. The adjacent river and encircling rainforest provide a captivating setting and inspire every moment at the resort, from a fine dining menu comprising foraged ingredients to jungle activities and tours provided each day. The design fuses the aesthetics of vintage travel through antique-style furnishings, rolltop bathtubs and retro celing fans, transporting you to a golden, bygone era of exploration.

About Shinta Mani Wild - A Bensley Collection

Reconnect with nature at Shinta Mani Wild, breathtakingly positioned between a flowing jungle river and the thriving rainforest of the Cambodian wilderness. Connected by wooden walkways and observation decks, this luxury tented camp overlooks a waterfall and offers daily excursions into the jungle in search of edible medicinal plants and the region’s flourishing flora and fauna. Firmly committed to sustainability and with deep-rooted connections to the local culture, environment and community, this remote camp comprises 15 Bill Bensley custom-designed tents that are suitably plush and sit perched above the rushing waters. During your stay you’ll be able to choose from a selection of enthralling activities that includes everything from kayaking and boat tours to cookery classes and jungle treks – plus indulgent treatments at the onsite spa. The experience is capped with unforgettable flavour, with the resort’s unique dining concept drawing from the natural world and showcasing freshly foraged ingredients such as bamboo shoots, figs, waterlilies and even red ants, a zesty local delicacy. Be immersed in wild Cambodia and develop a deeper relationship with the natural world at Shinta Mani Wild, where your stay makes a difference in protecting the environment and the region’s endangered species.

    The Butterfly Tent

Located beneath the zip line to amusing effect, this tent sits at the confluence of two rivers and is the place where Wild architect Khun Spot identified a plethora of butterfly species.

    The Jayavarmans Tent

Set upstream, this tent's location delivers outstanding sunset vistas and is located just above one of the camp's best swimming waterholes.

    The Elephants Tent

Guarded by a driftwood-made elephant sculpture, this tent sits close to the ground and is surrounded by bamboo thicket, inspired by an elusive herd of elephants sometimes glimpsed to the east of the camp.

    The Terrapins Tent

Named in honour of the Royal Cambodian terrapin, which not long ago was considered extinct. Recently, members of the camp spotted one of these rare reptiles at the nearby Srey Ambel estuary.

    The Cambodian Royalty Tent

Shinta Mani Wild's cover girl tent, this lavish tent is perched over rushing rapids and pays homage to the royal heritage of the Kingdom of Cambodia.
