Sitting proudly on a rocky outcrop just a kilometre from the city’s medieval walls and enjoying unbroken views of the Adriatic, Villa Dubrovnik is both a wonderful setting for those seeking a refined holiday experience and a superb base from which to explore a fascinating region.

Villa Dubrovnik may only have 56 guest rooms and suites, sat proudly on a rocky outcrop of the coast, but it has everything one could want when looking for a setting simply dripping with style and sophistication. The dining is superb, the finest Mediterranean dishes served with flair and pride in a Michelin-recognised restaurant – the food and drink only matched by the view out to the Adriatic and over the stunning Old Town. Access the sea directly from the hotel, or swim in the heated pool gazing out to sea, then why not relax with spa treatments or, if feeling more indulgent, a fine wine from the rooftop bar. It will be hard to leave your hotel, but you really should explore, especially when the hotel team caters sightseeing to individual needs. You may want to go wine tasting, or enjoy a speedboat ride to secluded islands, or take a guided tour of the city’s historic sights. With those choices, there will be much to ponder as you enjoy a nightcap on your private balcony under the warm night sky.

About Villa Dubrovnik

The staff at the Villa Dubrovnik love to help you leave – but only for the day in their capacity as experts specialising in tailoring sightseeing trips to individual preferences. Feel the rush of a private speedboat trip to Elafiti Islands and explore the natural beauty of this setting, or travel at a more sedate pace on a guided walking trip of the Old Town and sample a few delicacies from the local cuisine along the way. Others opt for an excursion to the sun-drenched vineyards, or a romantic cruise up the Dalmatian Coast, or you can even head to the Fjord-like scenery of neighbouring Montenegro. Nearer to home, just a short walk in fact, is Sveti Jakov Beach, one of the most picturesque bathing spots in the region. There is undoubtedly a lot to see along the Adriatic but, the problem is – and it is a good problem – there is also a lot to love about your hotel. There is Michelin recognised fine dining and a stunning rooftop bar serving Champagne and cocktails including a local special. You can swim in the indoor heated pool, with views out to sea, or a menu of spa treatments to relax and invigorate, including the Villa Spa Diamond System, a cocoon-like waterbed treatment combined with chromotherapy to banish stress. The hotel even has its own beach, with sun loungers set into white platforms.

  • Latest Updates

New Schengen entry requirements (planned for November 2024 onwards)

From November 2024, the new EU Entry/Exit System (EES) will start for all non-EU nationals, including British nationals, travelling in or out of the Schengen area. The Schengen area is made up of 29 European countries, 25 of which are EU Member States. The EES is a digital border system which registers non-EU visitors travelling into the Schengen area instead of stamping their passports.
You will need to have your fingerprints and your photo taken when entering the Schengen area. If you enter the Schengen area through Dover, Eurotunnel at Folkestone or St Pancras International, your fingerprints and photo will be taken before you leave the UK. You will also need to provide either your fingerprint or photo on exit.
You may experience longer queues at borders when the new system starts.

    Passport Validity

To enter Europe, your passport must have:

    • a date of issue less than 10 years before the date you arrive – if you renewed your passport before 1 October 2018, it may have a date of issue that is more than 10 years ago
    • an expiry date at least 3 months after the day you plan to leave
    • at least one blank page for stamping
