Day 1 (Windhoek - 50km drive)

Arrive at Hosea Kutako International Airport and collect your vehicle at the car rental kiosk. Travel a short distance to Windhoek where you will check into your guest house and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure, free to explore the city centre with its colonial-style buildings, street cafes and craft markets at your own pace.

Day 2 - Day 3 (Kalahari Desert - 250km drive)

In the morning, you travel into the largest sand mass on earth, the Kalahari Desert. The San bushmen refer to it as the “Soul of the World”, an emotive description for this unusual red dune landscape, home to specially desert-adapted wildlife such as oryx, springbok and ostrich.

Experience the fauna and flora that has survived this arid landscape for thousands of years on an optional guided nature drive in the late afternoon, ending the day with a sundowner on the dunes. The following day, you will enjoy a bushman-guided walk over the dunes of the Kalahari.

Day 2 - Day 3 (Kalahari Desert - 250km drive)

This morning you travel over endless plains and along striking mountain ranges into the Namib Desert, the oldest desert on earth. Your lodge is situated near the gate to two of Namibia’s most celebrated attractions: Sossusvlei, with some of the highest dunes on earth, and the Sesriem Canyon. Both are visited the next day.

Day 4 (Kalahari Desert - Namib Desert-360km drive)

Before sunrise you travel to the gate of Namib Naukluft Park to catch the incredible morning lighting – this part of the day is the most forgiving as you are not exposed to the scorching afternoon sun when clambering one of the dunes.

From Sossusvlei, visit Dead Vlei, a surreal white clay pan surrounded by monumental dunes and dotted with age-old Camelthorn trees. On your way back, visit the Sesriem Canyon, an 18 million year old gorge before returning to your lodge to cool off in the pool.

Day 5 Namib Desert - Sossusvlei - 300km drive)

Today you travel via Namib Naukluft Park to Swakopmund, a tranquil coastal town situated between the Namib Desert and the Atlantic Ocean.

Visit the Welwitschia plains and the aptly-named Moon Landscape (permit required). In Swakopmund, you will have the option of participating in some of the adventurous activities on offer, such as scenic flights, dolphin cruises, quad biking, parasailing, dune boarding and parachuting.

Day 6 - Day 7 Sossusvlei - Swakopmund-370km drive

On your way to the Damaraland, you can visit the large lichen fields past Namibia’s highest mountain, the majestic Brandberg Mountain. Your lodge for the night is situated near the Vingerklip, and you can enjoy the cooler part of the afternoon at a sundowner spot that overlooks the surrounding plains.

Day 8 Swakopmund - Damaraland - 340km drive)

After a relaxed breakfast, travel north to one of the most famous national parks in Africa, Etosha National Park, where you will spend the next three nights. Your lodge is situated on a hill with a magnificent view over the Mopane landscape.

Etosha National Park

You have the next two days to enjoy exciting game viewing experiences. Etosha National Park surrounds a salt pan known as the Etosha Pan, and is home to four of the Big Five - elephant, lion, leopard and rhino.

The park’s waterholes support a diversity of mammals and birds, including species such as black-faced impala, cheetah, and Namibia’s smallest antelope, the Damara dik-dik. Shortly before sunset you travel back to your lodge.

Day 10 - Day 11 (Etosha National Park)

In the morning you travel south again into the vicinity of Windhoek, where your guest farm is situated next to a dry riverbed within the majestic Otjihavera Mountain range. The rest of the day is spent at leisure beside the sparkling pool.

The following day you have the option of exploring the rich diversity of game species on an open-vehicle drive or a scenic walk. In the afternoon enjoy a sundowner drive on the lodge property.
