As such, even these five-star surrounds aim to be 100% energy efficient with their solar panels, coconut oil generators and air conditioning powered by cool seawater, meaning you can fully indulge during your stay, guilt free! The grounds are lush and manicured, each space is furnished with quality and carefully chosen touches of white drapes, balconies of reclaimed driftwood and contemporary-cool installations in the villas. A world-class restaurant and spa seal the deal before the main event, which lies outside: the islets of Tetiaroa themselves. This enclave of shallow waters and deserted beaches is entirely untouched, meaning that days can be spent drifting on the ocean or walking sandy shores, in total privacy and almost unimaginable seclusion; bliss.

Room Types

The one, two and three-bedroom villas at The Brando are as opulent, indulgent, glamorous and comfortable as you would hope for and expect, though not to an unnecessary or flashy degree. Private plunge pools and sundecks set the scene in each room category, while inside, it’s all reclaimed wood, soft colours and plenty of space, with many enjoying the seclusion offered by surrounding palm and coconut trees. The larger villas have separate living spaces which add something special in their homely feel, whilst bathrooms move from the laidback chic of the main spaces to fully cutting-edge, with barrel-like sinks, walk-in showers and walls of mirror; all working in absolute harmony.

The One Bedroom Villas offer 96sqm of space and blend into the surroundings beautifully. Each bedroom has a walk-through dressing area, a king-sized bed (twin beds available on request), a bathroom with alfresco bathtub set behind a Polynesian wooden screen and a view of the lagoon. A few steps lead through to the living area where there's a blend of indoors and outdoors: the sitting area opens out onto a terrace where your private plunge pool awaits, and to the side you will find a media room where you can watch TV or listen to music.

The Two Bedroom Villas offer even more space at 168sqm. Each villa is built around an airy living area and a large private dining room. A door opens out onto a spacious two-tiered deck with a plunge pool and a view of the lagoon. Both bedrooms have a private dressing room and an alfresco bathtub. What's great about these rooms is that they have their own individual entrances so they can be used for families or friends travelling together.

The Three Bedroom Villas are the most spacious of all at 246sqm. They're pretty much the same concept as the Two Bedroom Villas, except the third bedroom is located away from the main villa and is connected by a wooden walkway. Each room has its own private dressing area and an outdoor bathtub. For friends and families staying together, this three bedroom villa is perfect - and all will enjoy access to the large expanded deck with private plunge pool.
