About Ambre

Set on 750 metres of soft white sand beside a coral reef lagoon, Ambre is carefully crafted for a carefree holiday along the stunning east coast of Mauritius. Between Belle-Mare and Trou d’Eau Douce, this All Inclusive resort promises long, languid days spent beside one of the two swimming pools or snorkelling through schools of vibrant tropical fish in the coral lagoon. **IMPORTANT RENOVATION NOTICE**

Ambre will begin the renovation of the first 150 guest rooms, located in North Wing. Work will be contained buffer zones in place to reduce noise and disturbance to the remaining guest rooms and public areas.

Renovation time line : 1st May - 30th Sept 2026, with a gradual progressive return of the refurbished rooms from 1st June - 31st October 2026.

Throughout the renovation period, the vast majority of guest rooms, together with all public areas, restaurants, bars, and leisure facilities will remain fully open and operational.

Important - Local Tax charge:

A Tourist Fee of EUR 3 per person per night is payable on all stays.

The fee will apply to every tourist staying in designated accommodation establishments , payable upon check-in.

Please note that children under 12 years of age will be exempt from this fee.

The funds will support sustainable tourism initiatives and infrastructure upgrades across the island.
