Nine Skies resides in Demodara, home to an impressive viaduct and the famous Demodara Loop which you may experience if you choose to arrive via a spectacular train journey. Alternatively take a trip further afield, the train line through the mountains rises to almost 2,000 metres and goes over a bridge from which the Bungalow gets its name – nine skies - said to be visible through the arches.. Staff can help you plan more local excursions with the Nearby mountain village of Ella rich in Ramayana mythology and boasting waterfalls perfect for swimming and views that go on and on. You may also wish to visit a local tea plantation for the freshest cup of tea you will ever taste, or simply enjoy a beautiful picnic in a secluded spot near the villa.
