On a 3-day/2-night itinerary at this sustainable nature camp, you get up close to Thailand's mighty Asian elephants as they roam freely throughout the jungle mountains. You'll also gain a fascinating insight into the lives of the local mahouts, whose roles as guardians to these majestic creatures ensures their protection within their natural environment, and even help out with their daily routines to care for the elephants. Furthermore, you can enjoy some of the camp's excellent facilities - including a swimming pool - and savour a variety of authentic Thai dishes at the camp's buffet restaurant. An onsite bar serves refreshing sundowners which are a perfect accompaniment as you watch the sun set over the stunning mountainous landscape of Northern Thailand.

Day 1
Transfer from the airport or your hotel in Chiang Mai to The Bush Camp Chiang Mai (approximately 2 hours).
Arrive at the camp in the late morning and sit down for a delicious Thai lunch.
Check into your accommodation before enjoying the first day's activities.
Visit the free-roaming elephant park, where you can interact with and feed Asia's largest land animal in their natural habitat.
Discover the lives of the mahouts and get a glimpse into their daily routines and traditions. Part of the Karen Hilltribe, you can interact with their families, help them pound rice, see them weave their own handmade clothes, and sample some of their flavoursome cooking.
Sip on a thirst-quenching sundowner at one of the many mountain-top viewpoints overlooking the winding Ping River and watch the sun set over the stunning landscape.
Return to the camp for a sumptuous buffet dinner of freshly prepared Thai and Western dishes accompanied by stirring mountain vistas.
