The four star Cheeca Lodge & Spa, located on Islamorada, is boutique hotel with a focus on laid back luxury set on a 1,100 foot palm-fringed private beach. The hotel’s 214 rooms and suites are spacious and each comes with complimentary tea, coffee and WiFi. Guests can enjoy the unlimited use of fishing equipment, sea kayaks and bicycles, as well as try their angling skills from the end of the hotel’s 525 foot long pier. There are three on-site restaurants serving fresh seafood, Italian dishes and sushi, as well as a wine list with over 200 handpicked selections. The hotel is 1.5 hours from Miami International Airport.

Dining

  • Atlantic’s Edge – serves fresh seafood, prime steaks and organically grown local produce. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner (reservations required for dinner).

  • Limoncello – a Tuscan inspired menu which includes home-made pasta and children’s options. Open for dinner (reservations required).

  • Nikai Sushi Bar and Restaurant – dedicated sushi bar featuring favourites such as nigiri and sashimi, along with 35 types of sake. Open for dinner.
  • Tiki Bar – offers a range of beverages and the famous Cheeca burger. Open 11am – 11pm (Sunday to Thursday) and 11am – 12am (Friday to Saturday).

  • Coffee Bar – simple menu for breakfast, lunch and afternoon snacks. Open 6am - 3pm.

  • Lobby Bar – classic cocktails, wines and light dishes. Open 3pm – 10pm.
