The highly ornate Sanctuary of Truth temple is crafted entirely from wood, without a single metal nail. It's a religious shrine but also an artistic marvel, perfect for seeing the craftsmanship of Thailand close up. Or climb Pratumnak Hill to Wat Phra Yai temples with its 18-metre high Big Buddha Statue and views across Jomtien Beach.

There are many dining choices in Pattaya city, from deliciously spicy street foods straight from the wok, to exclusive excellent cuisine.
