Day 2 ( Rio de Janeiro )

Corcovado and Sugar Loaf tour

Your starts with ride along the beaches of Rio before heading through the Tijuca forest, the largest urban forest in the world. Board a cogwheel train which climbs through the mountain from 15m to 670m and leaves you at the base of the Christ Redeemer statue. The view from this vantage point, with the surrounding Tijuca National Forest spreading below and a circle of mountains closing the horizon at the very back of the Guanabara bay is one of the best in Rio. Stop for lunch at one of the finest restaurants in town. After lunch continue to the Sugarloaf Mountain where you catch a two stage cable car to the stop of the mountain. The all-encompassing view of this privileged 270-meter high lookout is unrivalled. The tour finishes with a visit to Rio’s downtown where the major colonial buildings are located.

Day 5 ( Rio de Janeiro - Iguazu Falls )

Day 6 ( Iguazu Falls )

Argentiean side of the falls excursion

Departure from your hotel and cross the Argentinean border on the Tancredo Neves Bridge over the Iguassu River. Once inside the national park you will take an electric train until the final stop where you being a walking tour of the upper walkways. This walkway leads you to the Devils throat for an up close and personal encounter with the largest of all the waterfalls. After this explore the middle section of the falls allowing you to experience the waterfalls from a different perspective. If weather and time allows, a brief stop at the 3 Borders point, where the Paraná and Iguassu Rivers as well as the borders of Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay meet.

Morning transfer to Foz do Iguazu airport for your flight to Florianopolis. Arrival in Florianopolis and transfer to Ponta dos Ganhos. Visas - British Passport holders do not require a Visa to enter Brazil. Visa requirements though do change and as such you must check the latest requirements with the appropriate embassy or consulate and ensure that you have the correct documentation to travel to Brazil.

If flying with a US carrier or flying via the US with any airline, you will be required to hold an ESTA under the Visa Waiver Programme - even if you are not stopping in the USA. This will be your responsibility to obtain.
